Why won't Labcorp let me view my results? ›

To protect the privacy of your data, the personal information in your lab test order must match your Labcorp Patient account. If the information is different, your results may not appear in your account. If you need help accessing your results, you can contact us.

If you have recently experienced a major life change (e.g., 18th birthday, legal name change, immigration to the U.S.), most likely there has not been enough time to generate the data needed to fulfill the authentication requirement.

Labcorp has been a leader in the genetic testing field for more than 30 years. Our results come with the guarantee of quality and are delivered with speed, convenience and most importantly, accuracy. Our results routinely provide a probability of paternity of either 99.99% or 0%.

The most common reason for delay in receiving results is inaccurate or out-of-date personal information on record with your health care providers or in your Labcorp Patient™​ portal personal profile.

Sometimes incomplete or out-of-date demographic information gets sent with a lab test order. When this occurs, Quest Diagnostics can't always match a lab test result to your Quest Account, and in such cases, we can't send a lab test result to MyQuest.

Reference ranges are a general guide to "normal." If your test result is higher or lower than the range that applies to you, it may be a sign of a health problem, but not always. It's common for healthy people to sometimes have results outside the reference range.

Login troubleshooting

My log-in username and/or password does NOT seem to be working, what should I do? The password is case sensitive, check to make sure the CAPS lock is not on and try again.

Labcorp has been criticised over faulty paternity tests, many of which have gone to court. The most notable case was the 2005 false accusation of Washington hairdresser Andre Chreky, who had to spend $200,000 and years in court proving despite a false-positive test that he was not the father.

This test has been designed to minimize false positive results but they can still happen due to problems with the sample that can occur during collection, transport, and/or testing. If you are concerned about the accuracy of your results, ask your healthcare provider if you need further testing.

Print. For the purpose of understanding if there is any quality difference between Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp, the answer is no, they both use the highest quality standards and machines.

How do I get my lab results from Labcorp? ›

You can view results with a Labcorp Patient™ account. When you sign in to your account, recent results will appear on the dashboard. You can view the full list by clicking Results in the main navigation menu. As you view an individual result, you can click Download Your Official Report to download or print your report.

Typically, it takes about 2 to 4 days from the date of pickup of a specimen to the release of the test result. Your result will be delivered directly to your Labcorp Patient™ account as soon as it is available. If you don't have an account, create one now to see your result when it becomes available.

Results are delivered to your Labcorp Patient™ account at the same time they are reported to your healthcare provider (unless state or federal laws restrict timing of delivery).

These pending test results are usually for tests with long turnaround times, such as blood cultures or sexually transmitted diseases. The system populates these events into a list that must be reviewed by the end of each shift (Figure 2).
